Minimalist Design Meets Flawless Style in the Mallow II Tiny Home

The immaculate, all-white landscape of a winter wonderland is the perfect backdrop for this eye-catching tiny home with a red exterior. As soon as you see the Mallow II, it will be impossible to forget its vibrant façade and elegant silhouette. Inside, the magic of winter is further mimicked by the pristine, Scandinavian-style design with a high level of efficiency.

Those who love the cold season and spending time outdoors in places like a mysterious cabin in the woods will surely fall in love with the Mallow II. Mobi is known for its vividly-colored mobile homes that are named after flowers and wild plants. In fact, this unique trait makes them instantly recognizable: if you spot a brightly-colored tiny with the look of a traditional cabin, chances are it’s a Mobi creation.

The Mallow II is one of the most beautiful red-colored tiny homes designed by Mobi. Inside, bright white and light-toned natural wood take center stage, while red and black are strategically used as accents to add visual interest and create a powerful contrast with a fresh, modern effect.

One of the European pioneers in the still-young sector of tiny living, Mobi drew inspiration from Scandinavian minimalism and continued to deliver simple, space-efficient models that focus on functionality. Even the wood used for the cladding is mainly imported Scandinavian spruce, which adds to the authentic Nordic style of these little gems. Each Mobi creation is a variation on one of the brand’s time-tested platforms, which leads to an unmatched variety of color schemes without straying from the basic Mobi layouts.

One of these popular platforms is the Mobi 02 with a single loft, a two-in-one lounge at one end, and an open-concept kitchen at the other end (plus the bathroom). It comes on a six-meter-long (19.6-foot) trailer, fully equipped with all the basic kitchen and bathroom appliances, and ready for year-long accommodation.

The Mallow II is a beautiful version of the Mobi 02 design, adorned with a striking, hot-red façade and red accents on the inside. This is not a design for neutral-palette lovers and those who prefer their home to blend in with the surroundings rather than stand out. The Mallow II is a bold home designed to turn heads, and its stylish interior with an elegant color scheme (white, red, and black) makes it ideally suited for weekend getaways and glamping guests.

A solid, elegant staircase is one of Mallow’s main features and is at the heart of its elegant, functional layout. It connects the loft with the ground level while also doubling as a massive storage unit with built-in cabinets. The wide treads and the wall-mounted handrail, unlike a basic ladder, make accessing the bedroom easy and safe for people of all ages. The only downside is that it takes up a lot of floor space.

Due to the limited floor space, the Mallow Tiny doesn’t include a classic dining area. Instead, it uses modular, multi-functional furniture to increase functionality. A folding table that seems to blend in with the white wall behind it turns into a convenient TV stand when folded. The versatile is also used for multiple purposes: seating, storage, and sleep. During the day, it offers cozy seating with beautiful views thanks to two large windows; at night, it turns into an extra bed for overnight guests.

The main bedroom is located upstairs, in the loft area. The carpeted floor makes it instantly more luxurious, as well as the beautifully-crafted open-work protection wall. This wooden wall adds safety without blocking the view and it also doubles as a décor element that elevates the overall style. Two large windows on each side keep the area bright and properly ventilated. The white shiplap ceiling and walls also contribute to Mallow’s cozy, traditional ambiance with a Nordic touch.

In a small space, every single element must be carefully chosen to maximize both efficiency and style. That is why the bathroom door also has a decorative function as the main red accent inside the home, matching the beautiful exterior. The abundance of white makes the bathroom seem bigger and more elegant, highlighting the modern shower cubicle. Storage is available in the form of a classic wooden vanity and an open-shelf cabinet on the wall.

The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, a range good, and an electric fridge. The wooden countertop provides ample room for preparing meals, while the classic cupboards and built-in staircase cabinets keep the area clutter-free. Right next to the main entrance, an ingenious piece of furniture combines a clothing rack with a shoe cabinet – another small detail with a big impact.

Electric radiators and an underfloor heating system keep things toasty when the weather gets cold, making this cabin-like tiny home even cozier. In addition to full mobility, the Mallow was also equipped for self-sufficiency through a solar package. All Mobi tiny homes come with this off-grid option for those who want to take the next step toward greater freedom.

Despite the incredible versatility of tiny home design, Scandinavian minimalism continues to be one of the most popular choices and one that merges with the concept of tiny living perfectly. Although it wasn’t built in Sweden or Norway, the Mallow II is a lovely tribute to the Northern tradition and a dream home for winter lovers.
